Astonpool Holsteins is a progressive 120-cow dairy based near Stafford, milking through two Fullwood Merlin robots. The herd consists primarily of pedigree Holsteins, with a growing number of Brown Swiss adding strength and longevity to the system.
Breeding decisions are centred on functional conformation and high production, aiming to develop cows that thrive in a robotic setup while maintaining the traits that matter most: quality udders, sound locomotion, and efficient milk output. Every cow is selected with the long term in mind — focusing on productivity, health, and ease of management.
